RCS agents

What are RCS agents?

An RCS agent serves as a verified, official sender identity — similar to an enhanced SMS Sender ID. It showcases your brand's name, logo, description, contact details, and relevant links directly at the top of the conversation.

Enhanced Trust & Security

Acting as a crucial protection layer, the RCS agent helps prevent spoofing and unauthorized use. This guarantees that recipients can easily verify they are communicating with your genuine brand.

Native Messaging Experience

RCS messages land directly in native apps such as Google Messages (Android) or Apple iMessage. Recipients can simply tap the brand name at the top to access comprehensive brand details.

Brand Identity

Recipients can easily access your verified contact details, email, address, and terms directly on the profile. Custom buttons and chat bubbles match your unique brand colours, ensuring every message looks 100% professional, recognisable and secure.

Graphical setup of your RCS agent

Get your brand assets right the first time. Follow these specifications so your logo and banner render crisply across every RCS client — in both light and dark mode.

Profile Logo (Hero / Avatar)

Dimensions: Exactly 224 × 224 px (aspect ratio 1:1).

Format: PNG or JPG with a transparent background.

File size: Max 50 KB.

Safe zone: Keep the logo graphic within an inner circle/square (approx. 80% of the area), as some Android messaging apps crop the profile picture circularly.

Colour & contrast: Test that the logo stands out clearly on both pure white (#FFFFFF) and dark grey/black (#121212) backgrounds (Light/Dark mode). Optionally add a subtle light or dark outline around the graphic if the logo is monochrome.

Banner / Agent Hero Image (optional)

Dimensions: 1440 × 448 px.

Format: JPG or PNG.

File size: Max 200 KB.

Check this before submitting

×
Do NOT use SVG or WEBP: Although these are modern web formats, they are not yet reliably supported by all Android/iOS RCS clients. Stick strictly to PNG (for logos) and JPG/PNG (for images).
×
Do NOT mix image formats: Do not deliver 1:1 images and 16:9 images higgledy-piggledy for the same campaign flow.
×
Do NOT use uncompressed files: Do not send RAW or uncompressed PNG/JPG files directly from Photoshop/Figma — always run them through compression (e.g. TinyPNG) without losing quality.
×
Do NOT forget Dark Mode testing: Never send a black logo on a transparent background without an outline — it becomes completely invisible in Dark Mode.
×
Do NOT add checkmark emojis to your agent name: The verification badge is added automatically by the platform once you are approved.
Best practices

Company information & best practices

The details in your agent profile decide whether verification passes on the first attempt. Use official, consistent, and accessible information across every field.

Agent Name (Brand Name)

Guideline: Keep it to the official trademark or company name (e.g. “Nordic Shop” instead of “Nordic Shop A/S Online Customer Service Marketing”).

Character limit: Keep it under 40 characters to avoid truncation on smaller phone screens.

Short Description

Guideline: Write a very brief statement of the agent’s purpose and what the customer gets out of chatting here (e.g. “Get updates on your delivery, track your package, or chat with customer service.”).

Character limit: Max 100 characters recommended — even if the system allows more, it will be collapsed behind a “Read more” button if it is too long.

Verified Contact Information

Email: Use an official support or contact address on your own domain (e.g. support@yourdomain.com). Free email addresses (Gmail, Hotmail) will definitely be rejected during verification.

Phone number: Provide the official main number or customer service number in international format (e.g. +45 12 34 56 78).

Website URL: Must point directly to your primary, encrypted domain.

Mandatory Legal Links

Privacy Policy: Must link directly to the page on your website describing personal data handling.

Terms of Service: A direct link to your commercial or service terms.

Tip: Ensure these pages are accessible without a login or paywall, otherwise Google/telecom operators will reject your verification.

What to avoid in company information

×
Avoid claims of “Verified” in the name: Do not write “Company A/S (Verified)” or put checkmark emojis in your agent name. The verification badge is added automatically by the platform once you are approved.
×
Do not use URL shorteners: Never use URL shorteners (bit.ly, tinyurl, etc.) for your website, privacy policy, or support links. This immediately triggers a spam and security flag during verification.
×
Avoid generic contact addresses: Do not use fictitious emails (like test@test.com or info@domain.com without an actual recipient), as the verification team from telecom operators often sends a verification email here during approval.
×
Do not mix languages: Ensure the agent description, privacy policy, and terms match the primary language of the market you are targeting (e.g. exclusively Danish for the Danish market).
